Who is responsible

Kuta Engineering (reg. no. –) is the controller of the personal data in this portal. Send questions and requests to joakim@kuta.nu.

What we keep

Your e-mail address, and what you enter yourself: name, company and phone.

What you put into your projects: messages, files, the specification and quotes.

Technical data for security: when you signed in and the IP address a login link was requested from.

Why

To work out a specification and a quote, and to deliver what you order. The legal basis is entering into or performing a contract with you.

For our customer records and to protect the service against abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest.

Where the data is

The database and your files are kept by Neon and Vercel in Frankfurt, in the EU.

The chat with the agent, and the images and PDFs it reads, are processed by Anthropic in the US through their API. Anthropic does not use data from the API to train its models. The transfer rests on data processing agreements and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

E-mail is sent through Resend, from their EU region.

We do not sell your data or pass it on to anyone else.

How long

Project data is kept while the project runs and up to three years after it closes, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Quotes and orders are kept as long as accounting law requires.

Cookies

We use a single cookie, to keep you signed in. No tracking and no advertising.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and object to how we process it. Write to joakim@kuta.nu.

If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
